Course include an 8-lane, 25-yard competition course with a variable depth ranging from 7 to 12 feet. The pool is equipped with state-of-the-art, anti-turbulent lane lines and Paragon starting blocks. A fully electronic, Daktronic timing system, digital scoreboards and stopwatches will be used in each competition lane. Hy-Tek Meet Manager software will be used. Locker rooms for changing are available. Only meet volunteers and officials may be on deck.

Only meet participants, volunteers, and officials may be on the pool deck. Other Facility Information: There is seating capacity for 1,000 spectators on the viewing level.

There will be NO PARKING in the pool parking lot. Due to the construction around TAC, parking will be limited. Please carpool and allow ample time to drop off your swimmer and get to the spectator seats. You may use the swimmer drop off lane to drop off your swimmer(s) before parking.

10 and under Warm-Up: 7:30 – 8:15 a.m.
10 and under Start Time: 8:30 a.m.

11 and older Warm-Up: Not Before 12:30 p.m. (to be announced)
11 and older Start Time: Not before 1:30 p.m. (to be announced)

Individual Fees: $6.00 per individual event
Relay Fee: $10.00 per relay event ($2.50 per Swimmer)
Swimmer Fee: $10.00 per swimmer *

Swimmers may swim in a maximum of three (3) individual events and two (2) relays (1 Free & 1 Medley), except for 6 & Unders, who are limited to a maximum of two (2) individual events and two (2) relays. Each club is eligible to enter three (3) relay teams per relay event, but only one (1) may score. Swimmers must swim in the age group that they were in as of June 1, 2023 for individual events. Swimmers may “swim up” for relays as stated in the TSA rules.

Warm-Up
Be ready to be in the pool for warm-ups at 5:30p.

Team Area
Set-up in the corner closest to the playground/parking lot. There should be plenty of seating, but please do not move furniture. We will be on the side with a roped off "family" area. No one should be in the pool unless swimming in a race.

We will use stop watches for lanes 2, 4 & 6.

Concessions

Ren Park and Crooked Creek are our Division #13 opponents. We win the division with a win against Ren Park!

Location and Parking Information:

Pool is located at: 100 Autumngate Drive, Cary, NC 27518

Parking: The parking lot at the pool is very small and limited. Please park along one side of Autumngate Drive and Copper Hill Drive as you enter the neighborhood. Cones will be marked to block off one side for emergency vehicles. If families can carpool, that would help with some of the parking shortage and distance they would have to walk to our pool.

Facility:

• You are encouraged to bring a folding chair(s) and/or a tent to our home meets.
• Arbor Creek swimmers can set up on the right-hand side of the pool from entry gate.
• The pool is a 5 lane 25 Yard pool with lights so we can swim past dusk.
  • Glenridge swims in lanes 1, 3, and 5 for main events, with lane 1 being exhibition.
  • Arbor Creek swims in lanes 2 and 4 for main events.
  • Glenridge swims in lanes 1, 3, and 5 for heats.
  • Arbor Creek swims in lanes 2 and 4 for heats.
  • When Glenridge is not using lanes for heats, the visiting team may use available lanes.

Concessions:

Glenridge offers concessions where swimmers and families will be able to purchase pizza, drinks, candy, and snacks. This is located inside the clubhouse doors. CASH only please.

Meet Management:

• Glenridge will be using the Time Drops timing system. Arbor Creek will provide 2 volunteer timers each for lanes 2 and 4 (4 timers total). Glenridge will provide the timing units.
• Pre-Meet Briefing/Timer Meeting at 5:40pm; volunteers report to the front of the pool clubhouse at that time.

Warmups:

The pool will be available for Arbor Creek to warm up from 5:30 to 6:00.

We will participate in the Parent/Coaches relay. Let Sam T (TSA Rep) know if you are interested in swimming.

Time - We will warm-up from 5-5:30p. Please be ready to swim at 5p. Bentwinds will warm-up from 5:30-6p. The national anthem will be played just before 6p and the meet will start following the anthem promptly at 6p.

Volunteer Meeting - We will conduct a "meet brief" about 20 minutes prior to the start of the meet. All volunteers will be called for a quick huddle, matching volunteers from both teams together (i.e. Stroke and Turn, Timers, Order of Finish), and answer any questions volunteers may have about the meet.

Heat Sheets - When available (NLT the morning of the meet), Heat Sheets will be in the "files" section below. Limited printouts will be provided to volunteers at the meet. You are encouraged to print your own. Heat Sheets are subject to change.

WEATHER UPDATE: Rain delays may not be called until both teams arrive on deck for the scheduled meet. If the pool can be opened safely, the meet will be swum. Meets may be held in the rain, but not when there is thunder or lightning. Meet status is the responsibility of the TSA representatives. A meet may not be delayed or interrupted for more than 60 minutes due to inclement weather. If needed, the inclement weather date will be the NEXT day that is not a legal holiday.

NOTE: A meet is considered "completed" if all breaststroke events have been completed, or if on the inclement weather day, all backstroke events have been completed. If all backstroke events have not been completed on the inclement weather day, the meet shall be declared a tie and will not be rescheduled.

The Garner Dolphins would like to welcome you to the Garner Swim ad Recreation Club on Tuesday, June 20th. Tuesday’s meet with be a Hawaiian Luau themed event! Please encourage your families to wear their Hawaiian shirts and join in on the fun. Team apparel is also welcome and encouraged.

Please make sure that you park in the parking lot and the grassy area near the pool. Please do not park in the road or in the church park lot for this meet. 

Deck Set-Up:

As you come into the pool, please set up on the far side in the grassy area and on the right side of the diving boards. There is not any shade.
