Swimmers
Crooked Creek expects about 60 swimmers. Visiting team warm-ups start at 5:30pm, the first event starts at 6:00pm. Please ensure each swimmer's number is easily visible on their arm prior to the meet. Time Visiting team warm-ups start at 5:30, the first event starts at 6:00. Dive-overs for age 11+ events. 

Timing/Scoring System
We use stopwatches and timer sheets (home team will provide all 6 lanes). We enter times into Meet Maestro on deck and following the meet. We will also have the order of finish judges as a back up to the timers. We will provide 6 timers (1 per lane) and we ask that your team provide 6 timers as well. We will have a volunteer meeting at 5:45pm to go over specifics for the meet. 

Parking
The hard-surface parking lot is reserved for Arbor Creek families. Spaces are limited, carpooling is encouraged. Overflow parking is in the grassy area between the pool and tennis courts. Please ask leave a "lane" open so that cars can enter and exit the overflow parking areas and park several rows deep, where space allows. Please do not park on the grass in yards along the road and be cautious driving on our curvy roads. Crooked Creek does not have sidewalks, but does have many walkers, joggers, kids, and pets. 

Pool Deck
Arbor Creek’s base for the evening is the area by the kiddie/shallow end of the pool. There are no permanent shade structures, so you may want to bring canopies if you have them. Our furniture is not accessible for the meet, so families should plan to bring their own chairs. 

Concessions
Our concession stand will be serving pizza, hot dogs, candy, chips, novelty ice creams, water, soda and other snacks. 

Parent/Coach Relay
If time and sunlight permits, during final score tabulation at the end of the meet, we are invited to participate in a parent/coach relay, where each leg swims 50 yds freestyle. Contact Sam if you are interested. Volunteering If you haven't already, please sign up.

Course include an 8-lane, 25-yard competition course with a variable depth ranging from 7 to 12 feet. The pool is equipped with state-of-the-art, anti-turbulent lane lines and Paragon starting blocks. A fully electronic, Daktronic timing system, digital scoreboards and stopwatches will be used in each competition lane. Hy-Tek Meet Manager software will be used. Locker rooms for changing are available. Only meet volunteers and officials may be on deck.

Only meet participants, volunteers, and officials may be on the pool deck. Other Facility Information: There is seating capacity for 1,000 spectators on the viewing level.

There will be NO PARKING in the pool parking lot. Due to the construction around TAC, parking will be limited. Please carpool and allow ample time to drop off your swimmer and get to the spectator seats. You may use the swimmer drop off lane to drop off your swimmer(s) before parking.

10 and under Warm-Up: 7:30 – 8:15 a.m.
10 and under Start Time: 8:30 a.m.

Individual Fees: $6.00 per individual event
Relay Fee: $10.00 per relay event ($2.50 per Swimmer)
Swimmer Fee: $10.00 per swimmer *

Swimmers may swim in a maximum of three (3) individual events and two (2) relays (1 Free & 1 Medley), except for 6 & Unders, who are limited to a maximum of two (2) individual events and two (2) relays. Each club is eligible to enter three (3) relay teams per relay event, but only one (1) may score. Swimmers must swim in the age group that they were in as of June 1, 2023 for individual events. Swimmers may “swim up” for relays as stated in the TSA rules.

Warm-Up
Be ready to be in the pool for warm-ups at 5:30p.

Team Area
Set-up in the corner closest to the playground/parking lot. There should be plenty of seating, but please do not move furniture. We will be on the side with a roped off "family" area. No one should be in the pool unless swimming in a race.

Division #13 Championship
Ren Park and Crooked Creek are our Division #13 opponents. We win the division with a win against Ren Park!

Due to 4th of July the meet is on Wednesday, July 5th.

Location and Parking Information:

Pool is located at: 100 Autumngate Drive, Cary, NC 27518

Parking: The parking lot at the pool is very small and limited. Please park along one side of Autumngate Drive and Copper Hill Drive as you enter the neighborhood. Cones will be marked to block off one side for emergency vehicles. If families can carpool, that would help with some of the parking shortage and distance they would have to walk to our pool.

Facility:

• You are encouraged to bring a folding chair(s) and/or a tent to our home meets.
• Arbor Creek swimmers can set up on the right-hand side of the pool from entry gate.
• The pool is a 5 lane 25 Yard pool with lights so we can swim past dusk.
  • Glenridge swims in lanes 1, 3, and 5 for main events, with lane 1 being exhibition.
  • Arbor Creek swims in lanes 2 and 4 for main events.
  • Glenridge swims in lanes 1, 3, and 5 for heats.
  • Arbor Creek swims in lanes 2 and 4 for heats.
  • When Glenridge is not using lanes for heats, the visiting team may use available lanes.

Concessions:

Glenridge offers concessions where swimmers and families will be able to purchase pizza, drinks, candy, and snacks. This is located inside the clubhouse doors. CASH only please.

Meet Management:

• Glenridge will be using the Time Drops timing system. Arbor Creek will provide 2 volunteer timers each for lanes 2 and 4 (4 timers total). Glenridge will provide the timing units.
• Pre-Meet Briefing/Timer Meeting at 5:40pm; volunteers report to the front of the pool clubhouse at that time.

Warmups:

The pool will be available for Arbor Creek to warm up from 5:30 to 6:00.
