How to Register for Volunteer Roles at a Meet:

Log in to the website. Login is found in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

If you can’t remember your password, click "Forgot your password" to reset your password.

Under the Meets & Events tab, select "Meet Calendar" to sign up for a swim meet.

Job Signup

• Click the green JOB SIGNUP tab and sign up for volunteer shifts (note one parent may sign up both parents for jobs -- scroll down and you’ll see the other parent listed). Job descriptions are below.
• Click Save Assignments.
• Click Back to Meet Calendar.

Job Descriptions

Clerk of Course:

• Lines up our swimmers in the order that they swim.
• You will organize the swimmers according to the event sheets, prepared in advance by the coaching staff, showing the heat and lane assignment for each swimmer.
• Ensures swimmers move to the starting blocks when their heats are called.

Kid Pusher:

• Supervises a group of boys or girls during the meet and takes swimmers to the Clerk of Course
• Lines up kids in the appropriate lane seats and keeps order in the lane staging area.
• This person is responsible for making sure all swimmers have their swimmer number printed on each arm so it is easy to see.
• Watches the kids and keep them safe and orderly, especially six and unders.

Order of Finish Judge:

• Observes and reports the finish order for each main event.

Ribbon Writer:

• Responsible for placing ribbon labels on the ribbons.
• Pick-up ribbons from away meet host.
• Distributes Heat Winner ribbons as needed at home meets.

Runner:

• Responsible for posting heat/lane assignments and results.
• Takes completed event sheets from the Recorder and disqualification (DQ) sheets from the Stroke and Turn Judges and carries them to the scorer’s table.

Timer:

• Times the swimmers in their assigned lane during each main event and each subsequent non-scoring heat.
• Stops the timing system with the touch of the swimmer at the wall.
